Lincoln the Panda Finds His Place

Lincoln was a young panda who was about to start an exciting new adventure. He was going to live in a brand new town, attend a brand new school, and make brand new friends. He was thrilled, but he was also a little bit scared. The day finally came for Lincoln to head off to school. He strutted down the street, feeling confident in his new backpack, new shoes, and brand new pencil case. But as he approached the school yard, he suddenly felt a tinge of nervousness in his stomach. As all the other kids rushed around him, Lincoln found himself feeling alone and unsure. Everyone seemed to be running really fast, shouting loudly, and playing games that Lincoln had never heard of before. Lincoln felt like he didn't fit in. But then, something funny happened. As he was moping around and feeling sorry for himself, he accidentally walked right into a door! BOOM! It was the funniest thing he'd ever done, and suddenly he felt silly and happy all at once. Lincoln realized that he didn't need to fit in with everyone else, he just needed to be himself and have fun. And that's exactly what he did. He started making up his own games, drawing pictures of his new friends, and telling funny jokes. Before he knew it, Lincoln had made tons of friends and was having the time of his life. He felt like he belonged, just like every other kid at the school. The moral of the story is simple: being yourself is always the best way to make friends and have fun.
