The Mustache Cow: Learning to Share with Emery and Delilah
Emery and Delilah were twin girls who had everything in twos - two dolls, two bicycles, two sets of crayons, and two cute little puppy dogs. But, there was one thing they didn't have two of, and that was a MiMi.
MiMi was their favorite person in the whole world. She was kind, funny, and loving, and always brought the most delicious treats whenever she came to visit. The girls loved her so much that they would fight over who got to sit on her lap and who got to hold her hand.
One day, MiMi took the girls on an adventure to a farm. They saw pigs and horses and chickens, but what caught their attention the most was a big brown cow. The cow looked so gentle and friendly that Delilah went ahead and kissed it on the nose.
Emery, being the brave one, decided to climb up the fence to get a closer look. But as she was climbing, she accidentally tore her dress on a nail, and the tear went all the way up to her shoulder.
MiMi saw that Emery was upset and said, "Don't worry, Emery. We'll fix your dress when we get home. But first, let's try something fun. Who wants to draw a mustache on the cow?"
Emery and Delilah were shocked. "What? Why would we do that?" they asked.
MiMi replied, "Well, sometimes in life, we have to learn to share things we love with others. And today, we're going to share the cow with each other. I'll draw a mustache on the left side, and Emery, you draw one on the right. And Delilah, you can be the judge of who drew it better."
The girls were hesitant at first, but as soon as MiMi drew the first mustache, they couldn't stop laughing. They took turns drawing mustaches on the cow, and soon they were all covered in marker ink - the cow included!
In the end, Emery and Delilah learned an important lesson. Sharing doesn't take away from what we have, it only makes things more fun! And as for the cow, it had a great time being the star of their silly game.
As they walked back to the car, MiMi pulled out a bag of treats and said, "Bring enough treats for everyone." They shared the treats, and everyone had a happy ending to their fun-filled adventure. The girls learned that sharing is always the way to go, whether it's with each other or a cow!
