Avery and Turtley's Forest Adventure: The Tale of the Helping Crab

Avery Harper Gracelynn Alimira was a little girl with three first names who loved nothing more than making new friends. Her parents had moved around a lot when she was younger, and so she had gotten very good at meeting new people and charming them with her charming personality. One day, while walking through a forest, she saw a turtle stuck on its back, unable to flip itself over. Being the kind-hearted girl she was, Avery immediately went over to help the poor creature. She carefully righted the turtle and set it back on its feet. "Thank you so much!" exclaimed the turtle. "I don't know what I would have done without you." "My pleasure!" said Avery with a smile. "I'm Avery Harper Gracelynn Alimira, by the way. What's your name?" "My name is Turtley," replied the turtle. Turtley and Avery became fast friends, and spent the whole day exploring the forest together. They even had picnics and sang silly songs and laughed until their stomachs hurt. It was the start of a beautiful friendship. The next day, Avery returned to the forest to visit Turtley again. But when she got there, she saw something that made her heart sink – Turtley was stuck on his back again! "You poor thing!" cried Avery as she rushed over to help. "Wait, no!" said Turtley, looking very embarrassed. "I can do it myself, I promise!" But try as he might, Turtley just couldn't seem to flip himself over. He was stuck, and he knew it. Avery tried to help as best she could, but it was no use. Finally, she had an idea. "Hey, Turtley," she said, "what if we got you a little helper? Someone who could flip you back over whenever you got stuck?" "But I don't know anyone who could help me like that," said Turtley sadly. "Well, what if I told you I knew just the trick?" said Avery with a twinkle in her eye. And with that, Avery led Turtley to a little pond in the forest. There, she introduced him to her new friend – a friendly little crab who was always happy to lend a helping claw. The crab became Turtley's new best friend, and together they explored the forest and had all kinds of adventures. Avery was thrilled to have helped two new friends find each other, and she knew that their bond would last a lifetime. Many years later, when Avery was all grown up and had children of her own, she would tell them the story of how she helped a little turtle find a new friend. And they would marvel at how kind and clever their mom had been, and they would be inspired to be the same way to everyone they met. And so the moral of the story is this: Being a good friend means not only helping those who need it, but also being clever enough to help them find the help they need. And that, my dear friends, is the true story of Avery Harper Gracelynn Alimira and the Helping Crab.
