Maisie's New School

Once upon a time there was a little white kitten called Maisie. Maisie was very sweet and loved nothing more than snuggling up in her parents' laps and letting them play with her fur. But recently she had started a new school and was feeling very lonely. Every day she would go to school and see all of the other kittens playing together, but none of them seemed to want to play with her. She would try to make friends with them but always ended up getting scared away and feeling like she was the odd kitten. One day, Maisie decided that enough was enough. She was going to be brave and make some friends no matter what. So she made an announcement to all the other kittens that she was happy being different from them and she wanted them to be her friends anyway. At first, all the other kittens laughed at her, but then one of them stepped forward and said that she was cool for being different and that sounded like a lot of fun. Soon all the other kittens started joining in and they all started playing together, having lots of fun. Maisie was so happy that she had finally made some friends and she had all the other kittens to thank for it. She realised that it was by being herself that she had been able to make new friends, and she vowed to never forget that lesson. The moral of this story is that if you be yourself you'll always find friends. No matter how scared you are, if you can't be yourself then you won't be able to make any real friends. So be brave like Maisie and don't be afraid to show the world who you are.
