The Three Little Pigs: Bricks, Sticks, and Straw
In a sunny meadow, there lived three little pigs named Tom, Tim, and Tina. They were siblings and loved to play all day long. One day, their wise old grandmother told them, "My dear little ones, always remember that building a strong house is worth the work. It will protect you from danger."
Tom, being the oldest and wisest, took his grandmother's words to heart. He decided to build his house out of sturdy bricks. He gathered all the materials he needed and started working diligently. He stacked the bricks one on top of another, making sure they were tightly sealed with mortar. Tom's house stood tall and strong, ready to face anything that came its way.
Tim, on the other hand, was a bit lazy. He wanted to play more than build. He thought building a house out of sticks would be easier and quicker. He collected a bunch of sticks and tied them together with string. His house was complete in no time, but it was flimsy and weak.
Tina, the youngest pig, loved to sing and dance. She didn't want to spend her time building a house, so she chose to build her house out of straw. She thought it would be fun and quick. Tina gathered bundles of straw and piled them up, laughing and twirling around. Her house was the fastest to complete, but it was fragile and not very secure.
As days went by, a fierce and hungry wolf named Walter was wandering in the meadow. He was in search of food and saw the three little pigs' houses. He approached the first house made of straw and called out, "Little pig, little pig, let me come in!"
Tina, being a kind-hearted pig, didn't want to be rude. She opened the door and said, "Please come in, Mr. Wolf." But as soon as the wolf entered, he huffed and puffed and blew Tina's straw house down. Tina squealed and ran to Tom's brick house for safety.
The wolf followed Tina to Tom's house and again called out, "Little pigs, little pigs, let me come in!" But Tom knew the wolf's intentions and replied, "Not by the hair of our chinny-chin-chins!"
The wolf became furious and started to blow, but no matter how hard he huffed and puffed, he couldn't knock down the strong brick house. The wolf realized that he couldn't break in and quickly ran away.
After that, Tim realized the importance of his brother's hard work. He regretted not listening to his wise old grandmother and decided to rebuild his house with strong bricks, just like Tom's. Tim learned that building a strong house was worth the effort.
From that day on, the three little pigs lived happily and securely in their strong houses. They always remembered their grandmother's wisdom and the moral of their story: building a strong house is worth the work. And so, they lived happily ever after, safe from the big bad wolf.
