Goldie and the Three Bears: Learning to Ask for Permission
Once upon a time, in a land far, far away, there lived a little girl named Goldie. Goldie was known for her mischievous and curious nature. One day, while taking a walk in the woods, she stumbled upon a cute little cottage. The cottage belonged to three bears, Papa Bear, Mama Bear and their son, Baby Bear.
Without giving it a second thought, Goldie sneaked into the house and began exploring. She opened the door, went inside, and what did she discover? Three bowls of porridge on the kitchen table. Being quite hungry herself, she decided to have a taste of each one.
But before she could even take a bite, she heard footsteps coming towards the door. She quickly tried to hide, but it was too late. The three bears saw her, and they were not very happy to see a stranger in their house.
"Who are you and what are you doing in our house?" growled Papa Bear.
Goldie was so scared that she couldn't even speak. Finally, she came up with a feeble excuse, "I was just, just, looking for a restroom."
The three bears looked at each other, and then started laughing. "You mean you came to use our washroom without even asking for permission?" chuckled Mama Bear.
Goldie didn't know what to say. She realized that she was wrong to just barge into someone else's house without asking for permission. Feeling guilty, she apologized to the bears and promised to never do it again.
Mama Bear forgave her, and even shared her porridge with Goldie, while Papa Bear told her the story of How to be a Good Guest. From that day on, Goldie always made sure to ask for permission before entering someone's house or taking something that didn't belong to her.
And the three bears? They found a new friend in Goldie, who always came to visit them and play games with Baby Bear. So remember, kids, always ask for permission before taking something that doesn't belong to you, and you might just make new friends along the way.
