The Lion who Loved to Sing

The Lion who Loved to Sing

Once upon a time, in the lush green grass of the African savannah, there was a great big lion. He had a mighty roar that echoed through the grasslands and even the bravest of animals shivered with fear at the sound of it. But the lion was not as fierce as he seemed. In fact, he was quite the opposite. He loved to sing and dance, and had a passion for collecting seashells on the beach. Despite this, all the other animals were terrified of him because of his loud roar and sharp claws. One fine day, the lion decided to put on a grand concert for all the animals in the savannah. He spent weeks rehearsing and perfecting his performance for the big event. The day of the concert finally arrived and all the animals came to watch. As the lion began to sing, the other animals were amazed. They had never heard such a beautiful voice. As he danced and twirled, the animals saw him in a new light. Suddenly, they realized that the lion was not a ferocious beast, but a kind and gentle soul who just wanted to have fun. The twist? Midway through the concert, the lion's voice suddenly turned into a croak! Everyone was shocked as they watched the lion nervously clear his throat. “Oops”, he said, laughing at himself. “I guess I've been practising so much that my voice needs a rest!”. Despite the change in the lion's voice, the animals still loved his performance. They cheered for him, and from that day on, they no longer saw him as a frightening creature, but as a friend. They all lived happily ever after, and the lion continued to sing and dance for all to see! The moral of the story? Never judge a book by its cover. Just because someone looks scary on the outside, does not mean they are not friendly on the inside. It is important to give everyone a chance and get to know them before assuming the worst.
