The Curious Frog and the Magic Blueberry Prank
Once upon a time, there was a little frog who lived in a pond. He was a happy little frog who loved to swim and croak with his fellow frogs. One day, while he was hopping around the pond, he met a friendly looking bird.
"Hello, little frog!" chirped the bird. "I have something special for you. It's a gift!"
The little frog was so delighted that he never paused to think twice about accepting the present from this kind stranger. The bird handed him a shiny, shimmering blueberry and said, "This is a magic blueberry that will grant you three wishes!"
The little frog was overjoyed and couldn't wait to make his three wishes. As he sat there, contemplating his options, something strange started to happen. He suddenly noticed that his skin was turning blue.
At first, he wasn't too concerned. But then his webbed toes started to curl up and his legs started to feel wobbly. He began to worry that something was wrong with the blueberry.
Suddenly the bird appeared again. "I'm sorry little frog, but I've got to confess," said the bird. "I played a prank on you! That blueberry was not a magic blueberry at all. It was just a regular blueberry that I painted blue as a joke."
The frog was shocked, angry and upset. He couldn't believe that a stranger could do him dirty like that. He learned a valuable lesson that day: to always be cautious of accepting gifts from strangers.
From that day on, the little frog realized that the best gifts were those that came from friends and family, and not from strangers. He went back to the pond and told all his friends about his silly adventure with the bird and they all had a giant croak of laughter.
The little frog was grateful for learning this lesson, and he lived happily ever after, with one less blue prankster and a whole lot more caution. The end.
