Draculon and the Brave Little Mouse
Once upon a time, in a magical land far, far away, there lived a dragon called Draculon. Draculon was a fearsome dragon with scales as black as coal and teeth as sharp as a sword. He roamed the land gobbling up sheep, stealing gold from passing carts and scaring villagers for fun. The villagers were terrified of Draculon and never dared to approach him.
One day, whilst Draculon was searching for his next meal, he stumbled upon a small village nestled in a valley. As he swooped down to snatch a pig from the farm, he was startled by a tiny voice that piped up from behind him. "Hey, what do you think you're doing?" said a small but courageous voice. Draculon turned around to see a tiny mouse, who had dared to speak up to him.
At first, Draculon was taken aback by the mouse's bravery. He had never had a small creature speak up to him before, let alone challenge him. However, he soon regained his composure and leaned down, ready to snack on the mouse.
Suddenly, the mouse brandished a small piece of cheese from its pocket and waved it in front of Draculon's snout. "If you let me go, I'll give you this yummy cheese!" said the mouse.
Draculon was taken aback by the mouse's cunning, and instead of eating him, he took the cheese and flew away.
From then on, the mouse and the dragon became the unlikeliest of friends. The mouse would ride on Draculon's back, directing him to the best treasure and the tastiest food. And in return, Draculon would protect the mouse from any predator that came near.
The villagers were amazed at the sight of Draculon and the mouse together, and they could hardly believe that the fearsome dragon had become so gentle and kind.
One day, Draculon and the mouse were flying over the countryside when they spotted a prince in a spot of trouble. The prince was being held captive by an evil witch and was in need of rescuing. Despite the mouse's fear of the witch, they both knew that they had to help the prince.
Together, they devised a cunning plan to rescue the prince. Draculon would fly in and distract the witch, while the mouse would navigate the prince to safety. The plan was a success, and the prince was free.
As the three of them flew back to the village, Draculon felt a sense of pride and joy in his heart. He had learned that it was important to listen to your friends and stand up for what is right, even if it means facing your fears.
And from that day on, Draculon became known as the kindest dragon in the land, and the other villagers soon followed his example, learning to always listen to their friends too.
