Tommy's Fries and Food Lessons

Tommy was a young boy with a big appetite. He loved all kinds of food, but there was one thing he loved more than anything else in the world - fries! He could eat them for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. His mom would always tell him, "Tommy, you need to eat your vegetables too!" But Tommy just couldn't resist the crispy, salty goodness of fries.

One day, Tommy's mom took him to a new restaurant in town. As soon as they walked in, the smell of freshly cooked fries filled the air. Tommy's eyes lit up with excitement. He couldn't wait to try them! They ordered their food and sat down at a table. When the fries arrived, Tommy's mouth watered in anticipation. He took a big bite and his taste buds danced with joy. These were the best fries he had ever tasted!

Tommy's mom noticed how much he was enjoying his fries and said, "Tommy, you know, fries are yummy, but we need to eat other foods too." But Tommy was too busy munching on his fries to listen. He finished his plate and asked for more.

The next day, Tommy's mom made him a plate of fries for lunch. Tommy was overjoyed and ate them all up. But when he went outside to play, he felt very tired and his tummy hurt. His mom noticed and asked him what he had for lunch. When Tommy told her, she explained that eating too much of one thing is not good for our bodies. We need to have a balanced diet with lots of different foods.

Tommy felt sad and promised his mom that he would try to eat more vegetables and fruits. But he also promised himself that he would always save room for his favorite - fries! From that day on, Tommy learned to enjoy all kinds of food and he was even happier because he had fries as a special treat. And he always remembered the important lesson - fries are yummy, but we need to eat other foods too.
