Rosie and the Wise Lesson

Once, in a cozy little village, there lived a sweet little girl named Rosie. Rosie loved to explore the forest near her house and often visited her Grandma who lived on the other side of the woods.

One sunny day, Rosie's mother gave her a basket of freshly baked cookies and a bottle of milk to take to Grandma. "Be careful, Rosie," her mother warned. "Don't talk to strangers along the way."

Rosie skipped along the path, humming a happy tune. As she walked, she saw a kind-looking wolf sitting by a tree. The wolf smiled and said, "Hello there, little girl. Where are you off to?"

Rosie remembered what her mother told her and replied, "I am going to Grandma's house to bring her some cookies and milk. But I can't talk to strangers, so I must be on my way."

The wolf's smile faded, and he said, "Oh, but I am a friend of your Grandma's. She asked me to come and meet you. She is feeling unwell, and I am here to help."

Rosie thought for a moment. She loved her Grandma and wanted to help her. But then she remembered what her mother said. "I'm sorry, Mr. Wolf. I can't talk to strangers. Goodbye!"

Rosie continued on her way, a little faster now. Soon, she reached her Grandma's house. She knocked on the door, but there was no answer. Worried, Rosie slowly opened the door and peeked inside.

There, lying in bed, was her Grandma. Rosie rushed to her side and gave her a big hug. "Grandma, are you okay?" she asked.

Grandma smiled weakly and said, "Oh, my dear Rosie, I am feeling much better now that you are here. But how did you know I needed help?"

Rosie told Grandma about the wolf and how she remembered not to talk to strangers. Grandma hugged Rosie tightly and said, "You are a smart and brave little girl, Rosie. Always remember to be careful and not talk to strangers. Now, let's have some cookies and milk."

From that day on, Rosie always remembered the lesson she learned. She never talked to strangers and was always safe on her adventures in the forest. And she lived happily ever after with her loving Grandma by her side.
