Mavis and the Missing Ball

Mavis, the little brown dog, loved playing fetch with her favorite red ball. One day, while playing in the park, Mavis accidentally threw the ball too far and it rolled into a big bush. Mavis tried to get the ball but couldn't reach it.

Feeling sad and unsure of what to do, Mavis remembered her friend Tommy, the big black labrador. Tommy always knew how to solve problems. Mavis went to find Tommy and told him about the missing ball.

Tommy came up with a plan. He brought Mavis to a nearby playground where there were lots of children playing with their toys. Tommy showed Mavis how the children would search for their lost toys and ask for help when they couldn't find them.

Inspired by Tommy's idea, Mavis gathered her courage and went up to a little girl. She wagged her tail and barked softly, trying to get the girl's attention. The girl noticed Mavis and asked, "What's the matter, little dog?"

Mavis barked excitedly and led the girl to the big bush where her ball was hiding. With the girl's help, they found the ball and Mavis was overjoyed. The little girl hugged Mavis and they played fetch together.

Mavis realized that asking for help and being brave can lead to finding solutions. From that day on, whenever Mavis faced a problem, she remembered the lesson Tommy had taught her and knew that she could always find a way with a little help from her friends.
