Polly the Helpful Parrot

Polly the Helpful Parrot

There was a parrot named Polly who lived on a farm with a kind farmer named Mr. Johnson. Mr. Johnson spent his days taking care of the animals and growing tomatoes in his garden. Polly loved to watch the farmer work and she would often sit on his shoulder as he went about his chores. One day, a big storm came and it blew down the fence around the tomato garden. Mr. Johnson was very worried because the animals might trample the tomatoes and ruin his hard work. He didn't know how he was going to fix the fence all by himself. When Polly saw how worried the farmer was, she knew she had to help. She flew around the farm, looking for something that could be used to fix the fence. She found some old pieces of wood and brought them to Mr. Johnson. With Polly's help, the farmer was able to mend the fence and protect his tomatoes from the animals.
Polly the Helpful Parrot
Mr. Johnson was so grateful to Polly for her help. He realized that even a little parrot could make a big difference. From that day on, Polly and Mr. Johnson worked together to take care of the farm. Polly would alert the farmer if she saw any animals getting too close to the garden, and Mr. Johnson would make sure Polly always had plenty of seeds to eat. The moral of the story is that even the smallest creatures can be helpful to others. Polly showed that by using her cleverness and willingness to help, she was able to make a big impact on the farm. And Mr. Johnson learned that it's important to appreciate and acknowledge the help of others, no matter how small they may seem.
