The Sleepy Adventures of Annabelle and Archie

Annabelle had been playing all day, and now it was time for her to lay down and go to sleep. But she didn't want to! She wanted to stay up and play some more. Mummy said, "Annabelle, it's time to go to bed. You need to get enough sleep so you can have lots of energy to play tomorrow." But Annabelle didn't want to listen. She wanted to stay awake and play with Archie, the dog. Mummy tucked Annabelle into bed and read her a story. She sang her a lullaby and kissed her goodnight.

But Annabelle still didn't want to go to sleep. She tossed and turned in her bed, and Archie tried to cuddle up with her to help her feel better. Mummy came back and said, "Annabelle, it's important to get enough sleep. You'll feel much better in the morning if you do." Annabelle finally closed her eyes and fell asleep. In the morning, she woke up feeling full of energy and ready to play with Archie. From that day on, Annabelle listened to Mummy and made sure to go to bed on time. She knew that getting enough sleep was important so she could have fun and play all day long. And Archie was happy, too, because he loved having a well-rested friend to play with.
