The Kindness of Elliot

Elliot, a little boy with light brown skin, curly hair, and brown eyes, loved to play in the yard with his new puppy. One day, while they were playing, Elliot saw a big truck drive by. The truck made a loud noise as it went down the street. Elliot and his puppy watched the truck as it passed by. Suddenly, the truck stopped, and the driver got out. The driver looked tired and grumpy. Elliot decided to go over and say hello. "Hi there! My name is Elliot," he said with a big smile. The driver looked surprised. "Hello, Elliot. I'm just having a rough day," the driver replied. Elliot patted the driver on the hand. "It's okay. I hope your day gets better," he said kindly.

The driver's frown turned into a smile. "Thank you, Elliot. You're a very kind boy." Elliot and his puppy waved goodbye as the truck drove away. Elliot felt happy that he had been kind to the grumpy driver. From that day on, Elliot made sure to be kind to everyone he met. He learned that even a small act of kindness could make a big difference in someone's day. And whenever he saw the big truck driving by, Elliot would always wave and smile. Because he knew that being kind was the best thing to do.
