Maple & The Bubble Wrap Fiasco

Maple the mischievous cockerpoo had a busy week - the family was off on holiday and she was so excited that the whole house was filled with bags and luggage. Maple was overwhelmed with curiosity and she decided to explore the house looking for something of a great interest. To her delight, she found lots of new exciting things to play with and soon enough things were flying all over the house - from jumping on top of the couches and digging up cushions, to running around with colourful tubes and pieces of paper. In the middle of her wild escapades, Maple took a break and decided to head for her favourite spot - the garden. But when she opened the back door she saw that it was filled with junk. Maple was startled by all of the garbage. She was sure it wasn't there earlier that day. Maple curiously peeped around, and suddenly she felt something touching her feet - huge plastic bubbles! She understood the whole garden was filled with her play toys - the bubble wrap! It was one big party with all the popping and bubbling. Maple went over to the garden hose and sprayed the bubbles to make them bigger and brighter. It was so much fun! Then Maple suddenly heard her family returning home, and she saw everyone coming out to the garden to find it in such a mess. Maple had made such a big mess that she was taken to the corner in disgrace. Maple realised her mistake and then she thought about the mess she had made. She had made a mess that was too much for the family to clean up. Maple learnt her lesson - it's fun to be curious and explore, but don't make such a big mess!
