Sam's First Ramadan Adventure: Love, Kindness, and Togetherness

Sam was very excited. It was the first time he would be celebrating Ramadan with his mama and papa. Ramadan is a special time for Muslims, and Sam was ready to learn all about it. Mama and papa told Sam that Ramadan is a time for fasting, praying, and being kind to others. They explained that during Ramadan, they would not eat or drink from sunrise to sunset. Sam was amazed at how strong and dedicated they were. The family woke up before the sun rose to eat a special meal called suhoor. Mama made delicious food like pancakes, eggs, and fruits. Sam loved eating with his family before the fast began. During the day, Sam watched as mama and papa prayed and read from the Quran. They talked about how important it is to be grateful for everything they have. Sam wanted to learn more about the Quran too. When the sun set, it was time to break the fast. Mama and papa had prepared a big feast called iftar. There were all kinds of yummy foods like dates, bread, and soup. Sam was so happy to be able to eat with his family again.
