Dream Big, Little Porch Goose

Gertie the porch goose was unlike any other goose in the world. She wasn't alive like the geese that flew in the sky or waddled around in the pond. Gertie was made of concrete and she sat in a beautiful garden full of flowers and gnomes.

Every day, Gertie would watch the squirrels play and the deer graze in the garden. She would see the chipmunks scurry around, and she would dream of going on adventures just like them.

Gertie's favorite thing to do was to watch the changing of the seasons. In the spring, she would wear a beautiful flower crown on her head. In the summer, she would have a sun hat to keep her cool. In the fall, she would wear a cozy scarf, and in the winter, she would wear a warm, knitted hat.

One day, Gertie decided that she wanted to go on an adventure. She imagined herself flying through the sky like the geese, or running through the garden like the chipmunks. But she knew that she couldn't do those things because she was made of concrete.

But then, Gertie had an idea. She realized that she could go on adventures in her imagination! So, she closed her eyes and imagined herself flying through the sky, running through the garden, and even swimming in the pond with the ducks.

Gertie discovered that with her imagination, she could go on any adventure she wanted. She could be anything she wanted to be. And she didn't need to be like the other geese to have fun.

From that day on, Gertie was the happiest porch goose in the garden. She knew that imagination was the key to unlocking her potential, and she was ready for all the adventures that awaited her.
