The Farting Horse in the Woods
Once upon a time, there was a little girl named Allison who loved horses more than anything else in the world. Allison would read books about horses, watch videos about horses and ride on horses every chance she got. She would spend hours at the stables, brushing and feeding the horses, and talking to them as if they were her friends.
One day, Allison decided to go for a walk in the nearby woods to look for wild horses. She had heard that there were some beautiful horses living in the woods that no one had ever seen before. Allison was determined to find them.
As she walked deeper into the woods, she came across a clearing where there was a big black horse with a white star on its forehead. The horse was unlike any other horse that Allison had seen before. Its tail was long and black, and its eyes sparkled like diamonds. Allison was enchanted.
“Hello there,” said Allison, approaching the horse. “My name is Allison. What’s your name?”
The horse simply looked at her with its big brown eyes and didn't seem to have any intention of speaking. Allison was not deterred, however. She stepped closer and held out her hand so the horse could sniff her.
Suddenly, the horse let out a loud fart that sounded like a trumpet blasting. Allison was so surprised that she stumbled backwards and fell on her behind. She couldn't stop laughing, though, and neither could the horse.
From that day on, Allison would visit the horse every day, even when she didn’t feel like riding it. She would simply sit beside it and talk to it, telling it all her secrets and dreams. Whenever the horse felt like it, it would let out another loud fart and Allison would laugh, again and again.
One day, Allison brought her best friend, Jenny to meet the horse. Jenny was not into horses like Allison was, but she agreed to come along anyway. As they approached the clearing, the black horse looked at them with its big brown eyes and let out a loud fart that blasted Jenny right off her feet. She was so surprised and a little upset that she ran back home.
Allison, on the other hand, just laughed and laughed. She knew that the horse hadn't meant to scare or hurt her friend.
“I’m sorry, Jenny,” said Allison when she caught up with her. “I know the horse scared you, but that’s just what he does when he likes people.”
Jenny sighed. “Well, I don’t think I’ll be coming back to see that horse anytime soon.”
Allison looked at her friend, feeling a little sad that she didn’t share her love for animals. But she knew that everyone was different, just like the horse in the clearing.
From then on, Allison continued to visit the horse, but she made sure to be mindful of other people's feelings. She learned that animals, just like people, could be unique, and that was perfectly okay.
So the moral of the story is: Always be kind to animals, even if they seem different than you. After all, it's what's on the inside that counts!
