Lilly and the Little Star

Lilly loved looking at the stars. Every night, she would stand outside and stare up at the twinkling lights in the sky. One night, she noticed that one of the stars seemed to be getting dimmer and dimmer.

Lilly was worried about the little star. She didn't want it to disappear. So, she decided to do something about it. She went to her room and grabbed her flashlight. Then, she climbed up to her roof and shone the light up towards the little star.

At first, the little star didn't seem to notice. But then, it started twinkling again. Lilly was so happy! She had helped the little star shine bright once more.

The next day, Lilly went to the park to play. As she was swinging on the swings, she heard a soft voice behind her. It was the little star!

"Thank you for helping me shine again," said the little star. "I was feeling a little lonely up there all by myself. But now, I know that someone on Earth cares about me."

Lilly was surprised that the little star could talk, but she was also very happy. She and the little star became friends. Every night, the little star would come down from the sky to visit Lilly, and they would play together in the park.

Lilly learned that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference. The little star taught her that everyone needs a friend, and that it's important to always look out for others.

From that day on, Lilly and the little star were the best of friends. And every night, they would both shine bright in the sky, together.
