Max’s Big Question: A Puppy’s Journey to Faith
One sunny day, a little puppy named Max was playing in the yard with his dad. As they played, Max asked his dad, "Dad, how do we know that God exists?"
His dad smiled and said, "Well Max, there are many different ways people believe in God, and one of them is called the cosmological argument. It says that everything in the world has a cause, and that cause must be God."
Max thought about this for a moment. "But how do we know that God is the cause of everything?" he asked.
His dad replied, "That's a good question, Max. Some people believe that because the world is so complex and beautiful, it must have been created by a powerful and wise being, like God."
Max's ears perked up as he listened to his dad explain. He looked around at the trees, the flowers, and the sky, and he thought about how amazing it all was.
"Wow, Dad," said Max, "I think I understand. So, everything in the world is like a big puzzle, and God is the one who put all the pieces together?"
His dad nodded. "Exactly, Max. And just like we can't see the person who made a puzzle, we can't see God. But we can feel his love and see the amazing things he has created."
Max thought about this for a moment, and then he smiled. "I think I believe in God, Dad," he said.
His dad ruffled his fur and said, "That's wonderful, Max. Believing in God can bring a lot of comfort and hope, especially when things are hard. And it's always good to remember that we are loved and taken care of, no matter what."
Max wagged his tail happily. He may have been a little puppy, but he knew that he had a big heart, and that God was watching over him.
