Kleine Herzen im Lichtermonat Ramadhan

Kleine Herzen im Lichtermonat Ramadhan

Amir was a curious 8-year-old boy who loved going to the mosque with his family. He was always excited to see Murabbi Sahib, the Imam, and listen to his stories and teachings. One day, Murabbi Sahib gathered all the children in the mosque and told them about the upcoming month of Ramadhan.

"Ramadhan is a very special month for us," Murabbi Sahib explained. "It is a time for us to fast, pray, and reflect on our actions. It is also the month when the Quran was first revealed to Prophet Muhammad."

Amir listened intently as Murabbi Sahib continued to tell them about the importance of Ramadhan and how it is a time for self-discipline, spiritual growth, and empathy towards others. Murabbi Sahib also shared the story of how Ramadhan came about.

"Many, many years ago, in the holy city of Mecca, the Prophet Muhammad was visited by the Angel Jibril. It was during the month of Ramadhan when the first verses of the Quran were revealed to him. From that day on, Ramadhan became a sacred and blessed month for all Muslims."

Amir was fascinated by the story and asked Murabbi Sahib what children could do during Ramadhan. Murabbi Sahib smiled and explained that even children could participate in the month of Ramadhan by practicing good deeds, giving to charity, and showing kindness to others.

"During Ramadhan, we also have the opportunity to strengthen our connection with Allah through prayer and reading the Quran," Murabbi Sahib added. "It is a time for us to reflect on our actions and seek forgiveness for any wrongdoings."

As the month of Ramadhan approached, Amir was eager to participate and make the most of this special time. He joined his family in fasting from dawn to sunset, and they would break their fast together each evening with a delicious meal. Amir also made an effort to read the Quran and perform extra prayers with his family at the mosque.

During Ramadhan, Amir and his friends organized a charity drive to collect food and clothing for those in need. They also visited the elderly in their community to spend time with them and show their love and respect. Amir felt a sense of fulfillment and happiness as he participated in these activities, knowing that he was making a difference in the lives of others.

As the month of Ramadhan came to an end, Murabbi Sahib gathered all the children in the mosque once again. He commended them for their efforts and reminded them of the importance of carrying the spirit of Ramadhan throughout the year.

"Ramadhan is a time for us to grow spiritually and become better individuals," Murabbi Sahib said. "Let us carry the lessons we have learned during this blessed month and continue to practice kindness, generosity, and empathy towards others."

Amir felt grateful for the teachings and experiences he had during Ramadhan. He knew that the lessons he had learned would stay with him for a lifetime, and he was determined to continue practicing the values of Ramadhan throughout the year.
