If You Give a Cop a Donut… (and Her Pup Too!)

If you give a cop a donut, she’ll smile and say, “Thanks!” Then she’ll take a big bite, and her puppy, Radlee, will wag her tail and beg for a nibble. The cop will laugh and give Radlee a small piece, And Radlee will bounce with joy! Now that Radle has a treat, She’ll want to play with her favorite ball. So, the cop will throw the ball, but uh-oh! It’ll roll right into a puddle! Radlee will jump into the puddle to get the ball, And she’ll come out all muddy! The cop will need to clean Radlee up, So she’ll grab some paper towel from her police car. While cleaning Radlee, she’ll notice a little girl Watching and giggling. “Would you like to help me wash him?” the Cop will ask. The girl will say, “Yes!” and together they’ll Splash water on Radlee, who loves it! When Radlee is clean, she’ll shake off water Everywhere, making everyone laugh. Now that Radlee is all dry, the officer will want To reward her with another donut. But the donut box will be empty! So, she’ll head to the donut shop. At the shop, the officer will spot a giant Donut with rainbow sprinkles. “That’s the one!” she’ll say. As she takes a bite, Radlee will do a little Dance, and want one as well. So remember, if you give a cop a donut, You’ll end up needing one for her pup, But the whole box will be swell!
