Rainbow Wings: A Perfect Friendship

Georgie and Poppy were two sisters who loved animals. They asked their mum if they could go to the pet store to choose a new pet. Mum agreed, and off they went to the pet store.

At the pet store, they saw all kinds of animals. There were fluffy kittens, bouncy puppies, and even some colorful fish. Georgie and Poppy looked at all the animals, trying to decide which one to take home.

As they walked around, they saw a cage with a little bird inside. The bird had bright feathers, but one of its wings was bent and it couldn't fly like the other birds.

Georgie and Poppy felt sad for the little bird. They asked the pet store owner why the bird couldn't fly. The owner explained that the bird had been in an accident and couldn't fly anymore.

Even though the bird wasn't perfect, Georgie and Poppy knew they wanted to take it home. They told the pet store owner they wanted to adopt the bird. Mum agreed, and they took the little bird home with them.

They named the bird Rainbow because of its colorful feathers. Rainbow may not have been able to fly, but he could still sing beautifully. Georgie and Poppy loved spending time with Rainbow, and they didn't mind that he couldn't fly like other birds.

They learned that sometimes, things that aren't perfect on the outside can still be full of love and happiness on the inside. Georgie and Poppy were so happy to have Rainbow in their lives, and they knew that they could love something that wasn't perfect looking.

From that day on, Georgie, Poppy, and Rainbow were the best of friends, and they always remembered that it's what's on the inside that truly matters.
