**The Great Teddy Rescue**

**Ayifas and the Missing Teddy**

It was nearly naptime at school, and all the children were busy getting their mats and blankets ready. Ayifas was helping her friend Selim straighten his blanket when Selim gasped.

“Mr. Snuggles is gone!” he cried.

Mr. Snuggles was Selim’s favourite teddy bear. He brought it to school every day for naptime. Selim’s face crumpled. “I can’t sleep without him,” he whispered.

“Don’t worry,” said Ayifas, putting a hand on his shoulder. “We’ll find Mr. Snuggles! Let’s have a big Teddy Search!”

Ayifas turned to the rest of the class. “Mr. Snuggles is missing!” she announced. “Will you help us look for him?”

“Let’s check the cubbies!” said Bilal.

“I’ll look under the chairs!” said Sara.

Even Ayla, who was very shy, raised her hand. “I... I can check the playground,” she said softly.

The search began!

Bilal peeked inside every cubby, even the empty ones. “Not here,” he said, shaking his head.

Sara got down on her hands and knees, peeking under all the chairs. “No teddy here!” she called.

Ayla checked the slide, the swings, and the climbing frame. “I don’t see him,” she said quietly.

“We need to keep looking,” Ayifas said. “Let’s try somewhere else!”

Finally, Ayifas had an idea. “What about the art corner?”

The children ran over. Ayifas started lifting paintbrushes and jars of glitter. Then, she saw something poking out from a pile of colourful scarves.

“It’s Mr. Snuggles!” she shouted, holding up the teddy bear.

Selim rushed over and hugged him tightly. “Thank you, everyone!” he said, beaming.

“You were all amazing,” Ayifas said. “We worked as a team, and we found him together!”

The children cheered, and Selim placed Mr. Snuggles on his mat. Naptime felt extra cosy that day, knowing that kindness and teamwork had saved the day.
