The Magic Paintbrush and Tom’s New Friends

Once upon a time, there was a shy boy called Tom. He lived in a quiet village with small, cosy houses and a tall, green tree in the square. One rainy afternoon, Tom found an old paintbrush in his dusty attic. It was shiny and soft with bright blue bristles.

Tom dipped the magic paintbrush into colourful paints. He painted a big, bright bird with red and yellow feathers. Suddenly, the bird flapped its wings and flew out the window! It sang a happy song in the village square.

Children heard the bird’s song and came outside. Tom felt nervous but smiled a little. He painted a bouncy blue ball next. The ball bounced high and rolled to the children. They laughed and played with it.

Next, Tom painted a glowing kite with orange and green stripes. The kite flew up, up into the sky, shining like a little sun. The children cheered and clapped. Tom’s heart felt warm. He was making friends!

The village was full of colour and joy now. Tom wasn’t shy anymore. He smiled big as he painted more happy things for his new friends.

And every day, Tom and his magic paintbrush filled the village with bright, wonderful colours.
