The Gentle Giant Dog in the Forest

One bright morning, a giant dog woke up in a small forest. The sun shone through the tall, green trees. Tiny animals were playing happily all around him. The dog wanted to join the fun.

He tried to run and play, but his big paws knocked over a bird’s nest. The little eggs rolled on the soft forest floor. The baby birds chirped sadly. Then, he scared some rabbits hopping nearby. They all ran away quickly.

The giant dog felt very sad. He sat down and watched the animals play from a far place. A small, wise squirrel hopped up to him. “If you want to play with us,” said the squirrel, “you must be gentle and slow. Use your soft paws and kind voice.”

The dog listened carefully. He tried again. This time, he moved slowly and softly. He played hide-and-seek behind the tall trees. The little animals giggled and ran between the green leaves. The dog caught leaves gently in his mouth and dropped them softly on the grass.

Everyone smiled. The giant dog was happy. He had made new friends. Now, under the tall, green trees, the big dog and the tiny animals played together all day long. The forest was filled with laughter and joy.

The giant dog learned that being gentle and kind made playing fun for everyone.
