Scarlett’s Big Idea and the Little Red Dress

Scarlett was a little toddler with bright blue eyes and soft blonde hair. She lived in a beautiful home in Bali with her loving parents and her kind babysitter, Lily. One day, Scarlett's parents had to go to Singapore for an important business trip. They kissed Scarlett goodbye and told her they would be back in a few days.

Scarlett was a little sad to see her parents go, but she was excited to spend time with Lily. They played games, read books, and even made a fort out of blankets in the living room. Scarlett loved having Lily around, but she missed her parents.

One sunny afternoon, while Scarlett and Lily were playing in the garden, Scarlett had a big idea. She wanted to surprise her parents by flying to Singapore all by herself! She knew that her parents would be so happy to see her, and she couldn't wait to give them a big hug.

So, Scarlett and Lily went inside the house and Scarlett packed her little backpack with her favourite toys and some snacks. She put on her favourite red dress and told Lily about her plan. Lily was surprised but also a little worried. She knew that Scarlett was too little to fly all the way to Singapore on her own.

But Scarlett was determined. She went to the backyard, and with all her might, she jumped up and flapped her arms, trying to fly just like the birds in the sky. Lily watched with a smile, knowing that Scarlett's plan was impossible. But Scarlett was determined to surprise her parents.

After a while, Scarlett grew tired and realized that she couldn't fly. Lily gently took her hand and led her back inside the house. She explained to Scarlett that she was too young to fly on her own, and that it was important to stay safe and wait for her parents to come home.

Scarlett felt a little disappointed, but Lily cheered her up by suggesting they make a special card for Scarlett's parents. They spent the rest of the day drawing and colouring, creating the most beautiful card filled with love and excitement.

When Scarlett's parents returned from their trip, they were overjoyed to see their little girl. Scarlett gave them the special card and told them all about her plan to surprise them. Her parents hugged her tightly and told her how much they loved her.

Scarlett learned that while it's fun to have big ideas, it's also important to listen to the grown-ups and stay safe. She realized that her parents would always come back for her, no matter where they went.

From that day on, Scarlett knew that she didn't need to fly to surprise her parents. She could show them her love and excitement in so many other ways, and they would always be happy to see her.
