**The Great Snowy Treasure Hunt**

Ahaana and Mira giggled as the snow crunched under their boots. The two sisters were building the biggest snowman they could in the forest behind their cosy house in Norway. Ahaana, with her silky black hair tucked neatly under her woolly hat, rolled a perfect snowball for the snowman’s head, while Mira, her curly-haired little sister, dug through the snow for twigs to make arms.

Suddenly, Mira’s hand hit something hard. "What’s this?" she wondered aloud, brushing the snow away. Ahaana crouched beside her as they uncovered a crinkly, old piece of paper.

“It’s a map!” Ahaana exclaimed, pointing to the wiggly lines and drawings of snowy trees. At the top, big letters read: **"FAMILY TREASURE!"**

Mira’s eyes widened. "Treasure? Let’s find it!"

The girls followed the first clue on the map, which led them to a sparkling frozen stream. “It’s too slippery to walk across!” Mira said, frowning. But clever Ahaana spotted a log lying nearby. “We can use this as a bridge!” she said. Together, they carefully rolled the log across the stream and tiptoed over it, giggling nervously.

The map led them deeper into the forest. But just as they reached the next clue, a gust of wind whooshed by, smudging the ink on the map! “Oh no!” cried Mira.

“Let’s ask Mum and Dad for help,” Ahaana said. So they hurried back to the house, where their parents helped them read the blurry map. "This looks familiar," Dad said with a smile.

The final clue led them to the base of a big pine tree near their garden. Together, they dug into the snow—and there it was! A small wooden box. Inside was an old photo album, filled with pictures of their family: birthdays, holidays, and funny moments.

“That’s the treasure?” Mira asked, confused.

“Of course!” Mum said, wrapping them in a warm hug. “It’s the most precious treasure of all—our memories!”

That night, the family snuggled on the sofa, laughing and sharing stories as they added new photos to the album from their snowy adventure.

And from then on, Ahaana and Mira knew: treasures don’t have to be gold to be special.
