Emily's Bright-Eyed Adventure

Little Emily was two years old and she was going to visit the eye doctor for the first time. She was a little bit nervous, but her mummy held her hand and told her everything would be okay.

When they arrived at the eye doctor's office, the waiting room was full of colourful toys and books. Emily's eyes lit up with excitement as she spotted a big, bright picture of a rainbow on the wall.

The nurse called Emily's name and they went into a special room with lots of funny-looking machines. The eye doctor was very kind and gentle. She asked Emily to look at some pictures and letters, and even gave her a special pair of glasses to try on.

Emily giggled as she looked at herself in the mirror, wearing the funny glasses. She felt like a little princess!

The eye doctor told Emily's mummy that her eyes were healthy and strong, and that she didn't need to wear glasses just yet. Emily felt very proud of herself.

As they left the eye doctor's office, Emily waved goodbye and said, "Thank you, eye doctor!" She felt happy and brave, and she knew that going to the eye doctor wasn't scary at all.

From that day on, Emily made sure to take good care of her eyes by eating lots of healthy food and taking breaks from her toys to rest her eyes. She knew that looking after her eyes was very important.
