A Poem for Mommy's Heart

Arielle and Dimitri were so excited. Mother's Day was just around the corner, and they wanted to do something special for their mom, Danielle.

Arielle, who was 7 years old, loved to write poetry. She decided that she and Dimitri would write a beautiful poem for their mom. Dimitri, who was only 2 years old, couldn't write yet, but he could certainly help by adding his own special touch to the poem.

Arielle sat down with a piece of paper and a colorful set of markers. She carefully wrote out the words to the poem. Then, she asked Dimitri to draw a picture to go along with it.

Dimitri eagerly grabbed his crayons and got to work. He drew a big heart surrounded by flowers and sunshine. It was the perfect addition to Arielle's beautiful words.

When they were finished, Arielle and Dimitri proudly presented their poem and drawing to their mom. Danielle was overjoyed. She hugged Arielle and Dimitri tightly, and told them it was the best Mother's Day present she had ever received.

The poem read:

"Mommy, Mommy, you're so kind, With love for us, you're always aligned. You kiss our boo-boos, dry our tears, You chase away our biggest fears.

You read us stories, sing us songs, You make us laugh all day long. Your hugs are warm, your smile so bright, You tuck us in and say goodnight.

We love you more than words can say, Happy Mother's Day, every day."

Danielle had tears in her eyes as she read the beautiful poem. She knew that Arielle and Dimitri loved her, but it warmed her heart to see their love expressed in such a special way.

From that day on, the poem was hung on the fridge for everyone to see. Arielle and Dimitri were so proud of their creation, and every time they looked at it, they were reminded of the great love they had for their mom.

Mother's Day came and went, but the love that Arielle and Dimitri had for Danielle continued to grow. They knew that no matter what, their mom would always be there for them, just like they would always be there for her. And their beautiful poem was a reminder of that love, each and every day.
