Glitter, Cake, and Heartfelt Surprises

Today was a very special day. It was mummy's birthday! Emma and Tom were very excited because they had been planning a surprise for mummy and daddy. They had made a card with lots of glitter and stickers, and they had even helped mummy bake a delicious chocolate cake.

When mummy and daddy woke up, Emma and Tom tiptoed into their bedroom, carrying the card and the cake. "Happy birthday, mummy!" they shouted. Mummy and daddy were so surprised and happy to see their special birthday surprise.

After breakfast, mummy and daddy opened their presents. They loved the homemade card and the drawings that Emma and Tom had made for them. Then it was time for the cake. Everyone sang "Happy Birthday" and mummy blew out the candles. It was the best birthday ever!

But the day wasn't over yet. Mummy and daddy had one more surprise for Emma and Tom. They had bought a big box of balloons and a bag of confetti. They took the children outside and told them to close their eyes. When they opened them, there were balloons and confetti everywhere! Emma and Tom laughed and played, and mummy and daddy joined in too. It was so much fun!

As the sun started to set, mummy and daddy hugged Emma and Tom. "Thank you for making our birthday so special," they said. "We love you very much."

As they walked back into the house, Emma and Tom felt very happy. They had made mummy and daddy's birthday very special, and they had had a lot of fun too. They knew that the best presents were the ones that came from the heart, and they felt very proud of what they had done. They couldn't wait for their own birthdays to come around so they could have just as much fun all over again.
