Rainy Day Treasure Hunters

**Sammy and Buster's Rainy Day Adventure**

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter. The rain danced on the window. Sammy looked outside. "No playing today," he said with a sigh. But then he smiled. "Let’s have an adventure, Buster!"

Buster, Sammy’s stuffed dog with floppy ears, was always ready for fun. Sammy held him tight. “First, we need a fort!” Sammy said. He grabbed pillows, blankets, and chairs. Whoosh! He tossed a big blanket over the chairs. Ta-da! A pillow fort appeared.

Inside the fort, Sammy said, “This isn’t just a fort, Buster. It’s our pirate ship!” Sammy put on a paper hat. “Captain Sammy and Pirate Buster are sailing the seas!” He pointed. “Look, there’s an island! Let’s find treasure!”

Sammy crawled around, searching. “What’s this?” he said, holding up a shiny button. “Treasure!” Then he found a sock. “More treasure! Pirate Buster, you’re a great helper.”

But then—what was that? Sammy saw a big jar under a table. He opened it. “Cookies!” Sammy cheered. “The secret treasure!” He carried the jar back to the fort.

Sammy sat with Buster. They munched on cookies and giggled as the rain kept falling. “Rainy days are fun,” Sammy whispered to Buster. “Especially with you.”

Pitter-patter, pitter-patter. The adventure was complete.
