Moonlit Dolphin and the Starfish Quest

**Ahaana, Mira, and the Mystery of the Moonlit Dolphin**

The sun was melting into the sea, painting the sky orange and pink. Ahaana and Mira begged, “Just a little longer, please!” Their family smiled and agreed to stay on the beach until the stars came out.

As the sky turned dark and the moon rose, the girls noticed a soft glow in the water. “What’s that?” Mira whispered, her eyes wide. Out of the waves leapt a dolphin, shimmering like moonlight.

“Hello, I’m Luna,” said the dolphin in a gentle voice. “I need your help. My glowing starfish is lost! I use it to guide my sea friends in the dark, but now they’re all scattered.”

Ahaana’s face lit up. “We’ll help you, Luna!”

The girls grabbed their buckets and torches and walked along the shore. “Where should we look first?” Mira asked.

“Follow the clues!” Luna said, splashing her tail.

The first clue came from a group of tiny crabs scuttling across the sand. They pointed their claws towards some driftwood. “Not here,” Ahaana said after peeking underneath.

Next, a seagull swooped down, dropping a shiny seashell. “By the rocks!” squawked the bird. The girls rushed over, but no starfish.

Finally, as they walked further down the beach, the waves began to sparkle with glowing plankton. “Ooh, look at the water!” Mira said.

“That’s it!” Luna called. She leapt ahead, and there, tangled in seaweed, was the glowing starfish. Ahaana and Mira worked together to free it, getting their hands a little slimy.

When they handed it to Luna, she spun in the water with joy. “Thank you!” she said.

Suddenly, the sea lit up with sparkling lights as Luna and her starfish danced. Ahaana and Mira laughed and clapped, feeling brave and proud.

That night, as they walked back to their family, they held hands tightly. “Even in the dark,” Ahaana said, “we can find the light.”

And Mira added, “Especially when we help a friend!”
