Butterflies, Sunshine, and Lily's Dream Magic

Lily snuggled into bed, the soft glow of her nightlight painting stars on the ceiling. She hugged her bunny tight.

“Mummy,” she murmured, “I had a strange dream.”

Emma tucked the blanket around her. “Dreams are like stories, my love. And you have magic—you can make them happy.”

Lily blinked. “I can?”

Emma smiled. “Yes! Like turning a whisper into a giggle or a cloudy sky into sunshine.”

Lily giggled. “What if I turn the dream lady into a butterfly?”

Emma kissed her forehead. “That’s perfect.”

That night, when Lily closed her eyes, the lady appeared—but Lily imagined golden sparkles swirling around her, turning her into a shimmering butterfly.

The butterfly twirled once, hummed a soft melody, and flew away.

Lily sighed happily, cuddling into her blankets.

And she dreamed of sunshine.

As Lily drifted off to sleep, she thought about what her mummy had said. Dreams are like stories, and she could make them happy. She decided to have happy dreams from now on, with lots of sunshine and butterflies.

The next morning, Lily woke up with a smile on her face. She told her mummy all about the happy dream she had, and how she had turned the dream lady into a beautiful butterfly.

Emma listened with a proud smile. “See, my love? You have the magic to make your dreams happy.”

Lily nodded, feeling very special.

From that day on, Lily always had happy dreams. Whenever she closed her eyes, she imagined sunshine, butterflies, and laughter. And her dreams were always filled with happiness.

And she knew that she had the magic to make them that way.
