Princesses at Heart
Ahaana and Mira were playing in their bedroom with their teddy bears. Ahaana was wearing a sparkly pink princess dress and Mira was wearing a blue one. They twirled around the room, giggling and pretending to be princesses.
"Mummy, look at us! We are princesses!" Ahaana called out, twirling around the room.
Mummy and daddy came into the room and smiled at their daughters. "You both look beautiful, just like real princesses," Mummy said, clapping her hands.
"Can we have a royal tea party, Mummy?" Ahaana asked, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
Mummy nodded and brought out a little table and some pretend tea cups. Ahaana and Mira sat down and pretended to sip tea from their cups, all the while talking in fancy voices.
After the tea party, Ahaana had an idea. "Let's have a royal dance party!" she exclaimed.
Mummy put on some music and Ahaana and Mira danced around the room, twirling and spinning just like real princesses. Their teddy bears joined in too, having a little dance of their own.
After the dance party, Mummy helped the girls change out of their princess dresses. "You had so much fun playing dress up and dancing today," Mummy said, smiling at them. "But remember, it's not the dress or the crown that makes you a princess. It's how kind and brave you are on the inside."
Ahaana and Mira nodded, understanding what Mummy meant. They hugged their teddy bears and promised to always be kind and brave, just like real princesses.
As they snuggled up in bed that night, Ahaana and Mira knew that they didn't need fancy dresses to be princesses. They just needed to be themselves, kind and brave, just like Mummy said. And that made them feel like the truest princesses of all.
