Walter's Wandering Wonders
Walter Stravage was a young boy who loved to wander around aimlessly on sunny days. He liked to walk and look at all the wonderful things around him. Sometimes he would find interesting rocks, or see a butterfly fluttering by.
One day, Walter decided to go for a walk in the meadow near his house. As he strolled along, he saw a family of ducks swimming in the pond. He watched them for a while, and then continued on his way.
As he walked, Walter thought about all sorts of things. He thought about what the clouds in the sky looked like, and he wondered why the flowers in the meadow were so many different colours.
After a while, Walter found himself in a part of the meadow he had never been to before. He saw a big, old tree and decided to sit down in its shade. As he sat there, he noticed a little caterpillar crawling along a leaf.
Walter watched the caterpillar for a long time, and then he thought about how much fun it was to wander around and see new things. He realized that wandering aimlessly was a good way to learn about the world around him.
So, the next time Walter felt like wandering around, he didn't worry about where he was going. He just walked and looked and thought about things. And he found that he liked it even more than before.
Wandering aimlessly, Walter learned, was a wonderful way to see and understand the world. And he was very glad that he liked to do it.
