Ebele the Elephant Dances His Dreams
Ebele the elephant had a big dream. He wanted to be a dancer. Yes, you read that right, a dancer! With his big, round and chubby body, he would twirl and jump to the beats of music. But the other elephants would laugh at him and say, "Ebele, you cannot dance. You're too big and clumsy!"
Ebele would be sad, but he didn't give up. He would wake up early in the morning, stretch his four legs and practice his moves. He would watch dancing videos and try to imitate them. One day, he heard that a famous dance teacher named Polly Parrot was in town, and she was giving dance lessons to all animals.
Ebele could hardly contain his excitement when he walked into her dance studio. "Hello, young elephant, what brings you here?" asked Polly, with a twinkle in her eye. "I want to be a dancer," said Ebele. Polly looked at him for a moment, and then burst out laughing, "An elephant who wants to dance? That's hilarious!"
Ebele felt discouraged, but then he saw a sloth, Soren, who was sitting in the corner, looking sad. "What's wrong with you?" asked Ebele. "I cannot climb trees like other sloths," said Soren. "I'm too slow and lazy."
Then Polly said, "I see great potential in you, Ebele. But first, I want you to help Soren climb that tree." Ebele was surprised by the request, but he didn't hesitate to help his new friend. He gently lifted Soren with his trunk and placed him on a branch. "Thank you, Ebele," said Soren, with tears of joy in his eyes.
Polly smiled at Ebele, "You see, sometimes achieving your dream means helping others achieve theirs." Polly then started to teach Ebele how to dance. Days turned into weeks, and weeks turned into months. Ebele practiced day and night, and with Polly's help, he perfected his dance moves.
The day of the dance recital arrived, and Ebele was the star of the show. With his big round belly and his clumsy feet, he danced like a pro. The audience was in awe, and the other elephants were amazed. "Ebele, you did it!" they cheered.
Ebele was thrilled, but he knew he wouldn't have made it without his friends. He hugged Soren and thanked Polly. "Remember Ebele, you achieved your dream because you were kind to others and helped them achieve theirs," Polly said with a smile.
From then on, Ebele became a famous dancer, and whenever he would perform, he would always remind himself of the valuable lesson he learned. The lesson that achieving your dreams is not just about you, but about lifting others up too.
