Veera and the Missing Homework Mystery

Veera and the Missing Homework Mystery

Veera and the Case of the Missing Homework Veera was a bright and curious little girl who loved going to school. Her school was big and grand with colourful corridors and classrooms filled with books and games. She had many friends, but there was one thing that she didn't enjoy very much - homework! Every day after school, Veera would come back home and put her backpack away. Then she would pleasantly roam through her day, playing with her siblings, reading her favourite storybooks and snacking on her favourite treats. But when it was time to do her homework and study for tests, Veera would procrastinate and avoid it as much as possible. And every time Veera did her homework, it would be rushed and incomplete. One day, Veera's class teacher, Mrs. Rai, announced that all the students had to submit their homework the next day, and any missing assignments would result in a lower grade. Veera's heart sank at the thought of losing points and disappointing her teacher. She knew she had to do her homework, but she just couldn't be bothered. That night, Mrs. Rai posted an online message saying that a surprise quiz would be taken based on the homework the next day, and the highest scorer would receive a special prize - a brand new bicycle! Veera was thrilled at the thought of winning the prize but felt downhearted because she hadn't completed her assignment. Next morning, Veera walked into the classroom with a heavy heart. She sat down and looked around, noticing that all her friends had submitted their homework. Kaavya, her best friend, handed Veera her homework book, explaining how she had made flashcards to help remember things. Veera was amazed at how organized Kaavya was, and how she managed to excel at all the subjects. Just then, the bell rang, and Mrs. Rai walked in smiling, "Good morning, children! I hope you've all done your homework." she said. Veera was the only one who hadn't submitted her work, and she felt small and insignificant. Mrs. Rai handed out the quiz papers, and Veera nervously started answering the questions. But to her surprise, every question was easy, and she knew the answers! She looked up at Mrs. Rai, who was beaming with delight - all the answers to the quiz were the same as the homework Veera hadn't done yet. Veera looked around the classroom and saw all her friends looking at her adoringly. They knew she was an excellent student, and that's why she would have known the answers to the quiz even if she hadn't done her homework. But Veera felt ashamed and embarrassed. She had never felt prouder of herself for doing her homework that very evening. After the quiz, Mrs. Rai announced the winner of the bicycle - Kaavya! Everyone cheered and clapped, but Veera felt happy too, knowing that she had done something good. She hugged Kaavya and congratulated her, and promised herself that from this day on, she would study daily and complete all her homework on time - just like Kaavya! So, the moral of this story is Kaavya, which means that completing your homework and studying regularly is essential. You may not always win a prize, but you will always feel good about yourself and be proud of your achievements. And who knows, maybe you'll win the grand prize someday!
