Bree and Pixie's Secret Spy Family

Bree was a tough little girl. She had been through a lot in her short life, but she never lost her sense of humor or her ability to find joy in the little things. One day, while walking home from school, she found a little pit puppy wandering around all alone. The puppy was tiny and covered in dirt, but Bree knew right away that she wanted to take care of her. Bree took the puppy home and named her Pixie. Pixie was soon the center of Bree's world. She spent all her time playing with Pixie and taking care of her. Pixie was her constant companion, and she always looked up to Bree with trusting eyes. One day, while Bree was out playing with Pixie, they stumbled upon a big, beautiful house. It was unlike any house Bree had ever seen! There were flowers in the garden, a big green lawn, and a huge porch with a swing. Bree couldn't help but feel a little envious of whoever got to live in such a wonderful place. But as she was leaving, a woman stepped out and called to Bree. "Hi there," she said. "I'm Ashley. What's your name?" Bree told Ashley her name, and they started talking. Ashley was so kind and welcoming that Bree found herself telling Ashley everything. She told her about Pixie, and how they found each other. And as they talked, Bree realized that she had found a new family. Soon, Bree was spending more and more time with Ashley and her husband Josh. They were kind and loving people, and they treated Bree and Pixie like their own. Bree even got a new little brother, Daniel! And then, one day, Bree and Pixie discovered a secret. Ashley and Josh, who had always doted on Pixie, were actually secret agents! They had been sent on a mission to save the world from an evil villain. Bree couldn't believe it! She had never known anyone who was a secret agent before. Bree's new family was a wonderful, loving group of people. They accepted her and Pixie into their home and made them feel like part of the family. But most importantly, they gave her a safe and happy home to grow up in. Bree knew that she could always count on them, no matter what. And as Bree and Pixie snuggled together in their new home, she realized that sometimes, the family you make is just as important as the family you're born into.
