Adopted by Monkeys: Michael Marcus' Tale

Michael Marcus was a young boy who was picked and wanted by his loving parents. He was adopted at a very young age and had always known that he was special because of it. Michael Marcus never gave much thought to where he came from or why he was adopted because he was surrounded by the love of his family. One day, Michael Marcus was sitting in class when the teacher asked the students to write a story about their family tree. Michael Marcus became very curious about his own family tree, so he decided to ask his parents about where he came from. To Michael Marcus' surprise, his parents had a funny twist in the story of his adoption. They told him that he was actually chosen by a pack of wild monkeys. Michael Marcus couldn't believe what he was hearing, but his parents insisted that it was true. His mom and dad went on to explain that they were on a safari one day when they saw a group of monkeys holding up a baby monkey. When they got closer, they realized that the baby monkey was actually a human baby. They immediately took the baby monkey back to their tent and cared for it until they could find a family to adopt it. Michael Marcus was shocked, but also thrilled to think that he was chosen by a pack of monkeys. He could imagine the monkeys picking him out from all of the other babies and knew that must mean he was very special. The more Michael Marcus thought about it, the more he began to love the idea that he was adopted by monkeys. He wished he could meet the monkeys who had picked him out and thank them for choosing him. From that day on, Michael Marcus never felt like he was missing out on anything by being adopted. He knew that his family loved him just as much as any biological family could. And he felt even more special knowing that he was chosen by a pack of wild monkeys. The moral of the story, Michael Marcus learned, is that it doesn't matter where you come from or who your family is, as long as you are loved and wanted. Love knows no bounds and can come from the most unexpected places.
