The Three Devils and the Boy Who Learned to Understand His Emotions
Fmdoor of Kaligon was a curious young boy who loved to tinker with strange gadgets and explore the unknown. He was the last surviving member of an occult royal family, which meant that he lived in a sprawling castle all by himself.
Life was a bit dull for Fmdoor, and he often found himself wishing for some adventure. He spent his days tinkering and reading books on magic until one day, he stumbled upon a book that told him of the three devils.
These devils were said to have been born from the fear, anger, and sadness of humanity. They were vile creatures who could destroy entire towns with just a snap of their fingers. Fmdoor knew he had to protect his little kingdom from these dangerous devils.
So, he set out on a journey to find them, to see if they were as terrible as the book said they were. He traveled through dark forests, over treacherous mountains, and across raging rivers until finally, he found himself standing before the gates of Hell.
It was here that Fmdoor met the first devil, who had a wicked grin and sharp claws. "Why have you come here?" the first devil growled.
"I've come to see if you're as terrifying as they say," Fmdoor replied.
The first devil laughed. "You must be brave or foolish to come seek me out," he said. "But I'm not so terrible. In fact, sometimes I'm even kind."
Fmdoor was surprised by the first devil's words, and he decided to stay and chat with him for a while. They talked about life, power, and all sorts of things until Fmdoor realized he had spent longer than he intended.
"Well, it was nice talking to you, but I have two more devils to meet," Fmdoor said, getting up to leave.
The first devil smiled. "Be careful, young one. Not all devils are as friendly as I am."
Fmdoor continued on his journey until he found himself standing before the gates of Purgatory. This devil was different than the first one. He had a defeated look in his eyes, and his shoulders slumped.
"Why are you here?" Purgatory asked, his voice flat.
"I've come to see you and your siblings, the three devils," Fmdoor said.
Purgatory looked up at him, his eyes flashing with anger. "We are not devils. We are simply emotions, just like you. And we are not to be feared."
Fmdoor was taken aback by Purgatory's words. He had been warned that the devils were evil, but here was one telling him they were nothing to be afraid of.
Finally, Fmdoor made his way to the gates of Heaven, where he met the last of the three devils. This demon was the most intimidating of them all, with eyes that glowed like fire.
"Why are you here?" Heaven asked, its voice booming.
"I came to meet you and your siblings," Fmdoor said, trying to keep his voice steady.
"Why?" Heaven asked.
"I was told you were terrible creatures that could bring ruin," Fmdoor said. "But I see now that you are simply emotions, like Purgatory said."
Heaven looked at him for a long moment before nodding its head. "We are nothing to be feared. We only want to be understood."
Fmdoor left the gates of Heaven with a happy feeling in his heart. He felt like he had learned something important about the world. Emotions were like devils, they could be dangerous if not understood but given time, they could be kind and even loving.
As he made his way back home, he knew that he would never forget the three devils and the lessons they taught him. From that day on, Fmdoor made sure to always take a moment to understand his emotions instead of running away from them. And he knew that he would be able to do great things with the power of his feelings if he only gave them some time to be understood.
