Chad the Gorilla Learns to Be Kind and Make Friends
Once upon a time, there was a gorilla named Chad. Chad lived in a lush green forest surrounded by tall trees and colorful flowers. He was a very lonely gorilla because all the other animals in the forest were afraid of him. They thought that because he was big and muscular, he was mean and scary.
But Chad wasn't scary at all. He was actually very friendly and kind. All Chad really wanted was to have friends so he wouldn't be alone all the time. But every time he tried to make friends with one of the forest's furry creatures, they would run away.
One day, Chad decided that enough was enough. He was going to be brave and try to make a friend no matter what. As he was walking through the forest, he saw a group of monkeys playing in the trees.
"Hello, my name is Chad. What's yours?" Chad asked the monkeys.
But as soon as they saw Chad approaching them, the monkeys got scared and started to scream and jump around.
Chad was sad and lonely again. He didn't know what to do to make friends. He started to cry and feel sorry for himself.
Suddenly, a little mouse named Jerry came out of his mouse hole.
"Hey, big guy. Why are you crying?" Jerry asked.
"I'm crying because no one wants to be my friend. I'm so big and scary that everyone is afraid of me," Chad replied.
Jerry thought for a moment and then said, "I know what you need to do. You need to overcome your fears."
"What do you mean?" Chad asked.
"Well, you see, the other animals in the forest are afraid of you because they don't know you. But if you show them that you are kind and gentle, they won't be afraid of you anymore," Jerry said.
Chad thought about what Jerry said and decided to give it a try. He went back into the forest and tried to make friends again.
This time, when he saw a little rabbit hopping by, he didn't run after her or try to scare her. He just smiled and said hello.
At first, the rabbit was scared and tried to run away. But then she saw Chad's smile and realized that he wasn't going to hurt her.
The rabbit stopped and talked to Chad. Soon, all the other animals in the forest saw that Chad wasn't scary after all. They started to come up to him and say hello.
Chad was so happy that he had finally made friends. He learned that the way to defeat his fear was to show everyone that he was kind and didn't want to hurt anyone.
But then something funny happened. As Chad was hanging out with all his new friends, a little cat and a little dog came running up to them.
"Hey, hey, hey! What are you guys doing?" the cat asked.
"We're all hanging out," Chad replied.
"But you can't hang out with those animals. You're a gorilla, and they're just small, puny animals," the dog said.
Chad didn't like the way the cat and dog were talking about his friends. He knew that they needed to be defeated, and that's when he came up with an idea.
Chad picked up the scared little cat and put him on his shoulder. Then he picked up the scared little dog and put him in his arms.
"Look, it doesn't matter how big or small you are. What matters is that we're all friends here. We're all equal," Chad said.
The cat and dog realized that Chad was right. They apologized for their rude behavior and became friends with everyone too.
From that day on, the forest was filled with laughter and joy. Chad had defeated his fear and made tons of friends.
The moral of the story is that it doesn't matter what size, shape or color you are, everyone can be friends. The other characters of the story are defeated fear, and everyone deserves love and kindness.
