Kieran and the Little Monster's Big Adventure!

Kieran and the Little Monster's Big Adventure!

Kieran the tinker was a happy-go-lucky man who loved nothing more than to travel from town to town fixing people's broken items. He had a mobile workshop that he would pull behind his trusty horse, Sampson. Sampson was a big and strong horse who could pull the weight of the world if he had to.

One day, Kieran arrived in a small town called Greenfield. He went from house to house, asking if anyone needed anything fixed. One of the houses had a small, yellow door, and as Kieran looked at it, the door opened, and out flew a little green monster!

"Greetings, Kieran! I am Gorgie the monster, and I am here to help you with your repairs!" The monster said.

"Oh my!" Kieran exclaimed. "I didn't expect to see a little monster today. How can you help me?"

Gorgie replied, "I have many skills. I can fix anything with my magical powers, and I can even speak many different languages!"

Kieran was curious and asked the monster if he would like to be his assistant. Gorgie's eyes lit up with excitement, and he jumped onto Kieran's mobile workshop. From that day on, Kieran and Gorgie traveled together from town to town fixing people's items.

One day, while Kieran was fixing a broken clock, Gorgie saw a spider crawling on the wall. The little monster was deathly afraid of spiders and started to freak out. He ran around in circles, screaming at the top of his lungs.

Kieran was amused by Gorgie's reaction and had an idea. He said, "Gorgie, I see that you're afraid of spiders. Did you know that spiders are scared of something too?"

"What's that?" Gorgie asked, still clearly frightened.

"Feathers!" Kieran exclaimed.

Gorgie looked at him skeptically. "Feathers?" he repeated.

"Yes, feathers. If you flap your arms like this," Kieran demonstrated, "it looks like you have feathers, and the spider will be scared and run away."

Gorgie didn't believe it, but he tried it anyway. He flapped his arms, and to his surprise, the spider ran away.

From that day on, Gorgie was no longer afraid of spiders. He had learned that sometimes things that seemed scary weren't so scary after all.

As Kieran and Gorgie drove away from the town, Gorgie said, "Kieran, thank you for teaching me that sometimes things that seem scary aren't so scary after all. And thank you for helping me overcome my fear of spiders."

Kieran smiled. "That's the moral of the story, Gorgie. Sometimes the things we fear are not so scary after all. We just have to be brave and face them."

And with that, Kieran and Gorgie continued their journey, fixing broken things and facing their fears together.
