Elsa the Rainbow Mane Unicorn and the Little Girl Who Taught Her to Control Her Anger

Elsa the Angry Unicorn Elsa was a beautiful unicorn with a flowing mane of rainbow colors. She lived in a magic forest with other magical creatures. Elsa was known for her short temper. Whenever something didn't go her way, she would throw a fit. One day, Elsa ran into a little girl named Lily. Lily had just moved to the forest with her family and was playing with her toys when Elsa stormed by throwing a fit. Lily was scared and asked the other animals in the forest about Elsa's behavior. They all agreed that Elsa was a wonderful unicorn but had a hard time controlling her anger. They urged Lily to try and teach Elsa how to calm down. Lily decided to try and help Elsa. She approached Elsa and asked her why she was always so angry. Elsa responded that whenever something didn't go her way, she felt like the world was against her. Lily understood how Elsa felt and shared a secret with her. Lily whispered into Elsa's ear, "Whenever I get mad, I take a deep breath and count to ten. Then I try to see things from a different perspective." Elsa looked at Lily with surprise. That was a completely different way of tackling anger than she had ever heard. Lily continued her advice, "I think it would be helpful to you, Elsa. When you're upset, take a deep breath, count to ten and try to see things from a different perspective." Elsa thought for a minute, then smiled at Lily. She realized that throwing fits wasn't the way to handle things. She followed Lily's advice and took a deep breath, counted to ten and decided to see a different perspective. Elsa walked through the forest and saw a birdhouse that was too high for her to reach. Usually, she would throw a fit and stomp away. However, this time, she took a deep breath and looked around for a ladder. She found one and climbed up the ladder and fixed the birdhouse. Lily was amazed to see Elsa helping out so willingly. "Wow, Elsa, you're really controlling your anger!" Elsa smiled and admitted that Lily had really helped her. From that day forward, Elsa worked hard to control her temper. She didn't throw fits anymore and instead tried to see things from a different perspective. Lily was proud of Elsa and even taught their other friends to take a deep breath and count to ten when angry. Elsa was happy she listened to Lily's advice, and the magic forest was a peaceful place once again. Moral of the story: It is easy for all of us to get angry sometimes, but throwing fits is never the answer. Taking a deep breath and trying to see things from a different perspective can help control your anger. Like Elsa, we too can learn, grow and change when we're open to it.
