Goldilocks and the Three Space Bears

Goldilocks was a little astronaut with bright, golden, curly hair. One day, while practicing her space walk, she drifted a little too far from her big spaceship. "Whoops!" she giggled, floating gently among the stars. Suddenly, she saw something amazing: a cozy, round space pod, shaped like a giant, friendly acorn! It had a little door. "I wonder who lives here?" she thought, tapping softly on the door. No answer. So, she gently pushed it open and floated inside.

The pod was warm and smelled like yummy stardust cookies. On a shiny table, there were three bowls of "nebula-nog." Papa Space Bear's bowl was big and bubbly. Mama Space Bear's bowl was medium and swirly. Baby Space Bear's bowl was small and sparkly. Goldilocks was hungry!

She tried Papa Space Bear's nebula-nog. "Too hot and too spicy!" she puffed. She tried Mama Space Bear's nebula-nog. "Too cold and too sweet!" she shivered. Then she tried Baby Space Bear's nebula-nog. "Mmm, this nebula-nog is just right!" she smiled, and ate it all up.

Next, she saw three anti-gravity loungers. Papa Space Bear's was big and bouncy. Mama Space Bear's was medium and wobbly. Baby Space Bear's was small and perfectly soft. She tried Papa Space Bear's lounger. "Too hard and too high!" she groaned. She tried Mama Space Bear's lounger. "Too soft and too low!" she sighed. Then she tried Baby Space Bear's lounger. "Oh, this anti-gravity lounger is just right!" she said, but she bounced too much and boing! it broke a little. "Uh oh," she whispered.

Goldilocks was feeling sleepy now. She saw three sleep-pods in a quiet corner. Papa Space Bear's sleep-pod was big and rumbling. Mama Space Bear's sleep-pod was medium and humming. Baby Space Bear's sleep-pod was small and twinkling.

She tried Papa Space Bear's sleep-pod. "Too noisy and too firm!" she grumbled. She tried Mama Space Bear's sleep-pod. "Too wiggly and too soft!" she yawned. Then she tried Baby Space Bear's sleep-pod. "This sleep-pod is just right!" she whispered, and snuggled in, falling fast asleep.

Soon, the Three Space Bears came home. Papa Space Bear, Mama Space Bear, and Baby Space Bear had been out collecting sparkling stardust for their nebula-nog.
"Someone's been eating my nebula-nog!" rumbled Papa Space Bear.
"Someone's been eating my nebula-nog!" hummed Mama Space Bear.
"Someone's been eating MY nebula-nog, and eaten it ALL UP!" squeaked Baby Space Bear.

Then they looked at their loungers.
"Someone's been sitting in my anti-gravity lounger!" boomed Papa Space Bear.
"Someone's been sitting in my anti-gravity lounger!" whispered Mama Space Bear.
"Someone's been sitting in MY anti-gravity lounger, and BROKEN IT!" cried Baby Space Bear.

Finally, they looked at their sleep-pods.
"Someone's been sleeping in my sleep-pod!" growled Papa Space Bear.
"Someone's been sleeping in my sleep-pod!" sighed Mama Space Bear.
"Someone's been sleeping in MY sleep-pod, and here she IS!" squealed Baby Space Bear.

Goldilocks woke up with a start! She saw the three Space Bears looking at her. "Oh dear!" she thought. She jumped out of the sleep-pod, zoomed past the surprised Space Bears, and zipped out the door of the space pod. "Thank you for the nebula-nog!" she called, as she floated back towards her own big spaceship, promising to be more careful next time. The Space Bears just blinked, a little confused, but then Baby Bear giggled. Papa Space Bear and Mama Space Bear smiled. They knew Goldilocks hadn't meant any harm, and maybe, just maybe, they'd leave a little extra nebula-nog out next time for a curious space traveler.
